[CBSPhilly] PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – When the new NHL labor deal is ratified in the coming days, it will reportedly contain an amnesty clause.
The clause allows teams to cut a player it has under contract, and that contract no longer counts against the team’s salary cap. The player will still get paid the entirety of the contract. Teams can use the clause on two players before the 2013-14 season, starting after the coming season.

No chance the Flyers keep Bryz after this season, unless he wins a Stanley Cup right? Bryz gets a check, and gets a new contract else where, and we get a new goalie. Sounds good to me.
