[FOXPhilly] PHILADELPHIA -An ad salesman who works for a local radio station started a quest to be the new face of Applebees as a joke, but thanks to a social media explosion, it’s now being taken seriously by the restaurant company.
Northeast Philly’s own Kevin Matuszak believes he should be the new face of Applebees.
His quest started two weeks ago after he “liked” an Applebees new beer pub pretzel ad that popped up on his Facebook page.
Matuszak says he then asked the company to give him a job.
