Here it is. The ultimate test for students. The final game of the regular season to honor these players (especially the seniors) for sticking with Penn State, falls on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The questions is, will you come back early from break for the game?
Although unfortunate, it would be shocking to see a full student section for the game. It’s just such a long-shot to ask students to come back early. Some will, don’t get me wrong (and all should), but a lot of students just can’t and a lot just won’t. That’s just how it is. It has nothing to do with how the students feel about the team, or how much they love this program and these players. It’s just a tough situation, and it’s a shame.
Trust me, I’d love to be wrong. I hope I am under-estimating the best student section in the country. But it would be a near miracle to see a packed house for the final game of the season.
However, if any team deserves it, and any student section/university can provide it, in any year, it would be this student section, for this school, in this year to pull it off. So please, prove me wrong. I dare you.

Senior Day? Celebrate/Honor those who stuck it out and stayed with the team? If you don’t go, never go to another game… ever again. I don’t care if your kid grows up and plays for the Lions, you should never show your face for a tailgate either.
Only way you don’t go, is hospital for a family member or yourself, flight back to SC delayed, no other excuse is acceptable.
