As students, the last year in Happy Valley has been defined by things beyond our control. There are plenty of storylines for Saturday, each one worthy of coverage, but here’s one I hope every student remembers.
Saturday is about us, the Beaver Stadium student section. We must use the national platform that is a primetime ESPN whiteout to show the college football world that what Kirk Herbstreit uttered 4 years ago stands true today. We are the best student section in the nation. And we are crazy.
Just keep that in mind Saturday. No slacking. No late arrivals. And if you have your voice come 9:30 Saturday night you didn’t do your part. The title “Best student section in the nation” is there again for the taking. It’s something WE can control, so let’s take it.
