Huuuuuuuge weekend for recruiting. First of all, all of the current commits will be in attendance for the game besides Curtis Cothran, Neiko Robinson, Garrett Sickels, and Brandon Mahon (They would like to be there but have conflicts with things such as their own games, homecoming, etc.). This is the most important class in the history of PSU. They stuck by us during the worst sanctions ever handed down by the NCAA. The leaders of this class (Hackenberg, Breneman, Sickels, Mahon, etc.) have kept this class in tact and have even helped bring in other great guys. These kids are special and are being recruited left and right by other schools. Trying to pry them away and tell them how “bad” the sanctions are going to be for PSU. They could have easily left like Silas Redd and Justin Brown did. Yeah, I said it. Unlike Silas and Justin these kids have yet to even sign their letters of intent, so it would be even EASIER to leave. But nope. Just like Bill O’Brien they stuck by us. These are special kids. If you see Breneman, Hackenberg, or any of the current commits Saturday in Happy Valley, show them some love. Thank them. Because they deserve it.
Now, on to the potential future commits. A few guys to keep an eye on:
LB Zayd Issah 2013 class (de-committed after sanctions, but considering getting back on board)
RB Roman Clay 2013 class
RB Richie Anderson 2013 class
ATH Wesley Bullock 2013 class
Also, there will be a lot of big name prospects from the class of 2014 in attendance and could pay dividends down the road.
One 2014 prospect being Adam Breneman’s high school teammate, QB Andrew Ford, who is having a HUGE year even with Breneman out.
80-100 prospects this weekend for the Hypothetical Big Ten Championship. Wow. Hope you enjoy, Mark.

Ps. PSU is still ranked in the ESPN top 25 for the 2013 class. Suck. It. Mark. Emmert.
