[ESPN] Eighteen-year-old Aaron Fisher is known in court papers as Victim 1. He tells People magazine he’s coming forward with a book to tell other victims it’s better to tell people about abuse than remain silent. He says Sandusky’s victims “had a very long battle to see justice done.”
Sandusky was convicted in June on charges he abused 10 boys. He maintains his innocence.
Fisher testified against Sandusky. His book comes out next week. He’s expected to appear on ABC on Friday.
The police investigation that led to charges against Sandusky began after Fisher and his mother alerted school officials in 2008.
