Big Sean will be performing at Penn State’s Hoops Madness on October 25th in Rec Hall. Penn State’s Mike Wallz will be opening for Big Sean.
Admittance into Hoops Madness is free. Basketball Student Season ticket holders will be given early admittance, and the first few people to enter into Rec Hall will be allowed on the floor (exact number to be determined). Student season tickets will be on sale in the HUB from Oct 15th through Oct 19th for $40.
Penn State Hoops Madness will introduce the Penn State community to the 2012-2013 Penn State mens and womens basketball team.
Big Sean’s was a major feature on the GOOD Music album, Cruel Summer, in which he was featured on songs with artists like Jay-Z, Kanye West, and 2Chainz. Cruel Summer reached number two on the US Billboard 200 and was the number 1 album on the US Billboard for Top Rap, R&B and Hip Hop Albums.
In addition to Cruel Summer, Big Sean has been working on his sophomore album, Hall of Fame: Memoirs of a Detroit Player, expected to come out in December. In 2011, Big Sean’s first solo album, Finally Famous, was released. That album peaked at number 3 on the US Billboard 200.
