Phillies announce Ryne Sandberg will be third base coach/infield instructor next season.

The Plot thickens!

Sandberg will  should replace Charlie. Just a matter of when, now.

Other notes:

Rod Nichols is new bullpen coach. Steve Henderson is new hitting coach. Mick Billmeyer becomes catching coach. Juan Samuel moves to first.

Manuel will have no official bench coach, but I assume Dubee (everything pitching related) and Billmeyer will be in his ear.
