Screen grab from video
Some comments on YouTube (which were disabled right after we posted this, ironically):
Naturally, people are irate about the “blur out”. Doesn’t really make sense to even have the book in the video, if you are going to blur out the name Joe, right? Unless.
Unless, the sneaky son of a bitches who made the video are sneakier than we even think. Unless, these sneaky son of a bitches want to draw as much attention as possible to Joe Paterno, so they blur out his name, symbolizing that the legend of Joe will be forever passed on from generation to generation, whether the media wants to blur him out or not.
Or…I could be totally nuts.
UPDATE: 6:27pm – Could very well be just be a liscensing issue as well.
UPDATE: 6:55am (Wednesday) – PSU Homecoming says it was indeed because of liscneing, but Scott Paterno said he would have had no problem with using Joe’s name. All they had to do was ask.

You need to tell Yahoo to update their story with the true reason behind the blur (licensing). I am begging you.

If you look closely at the scene of the boy and his grandmother reading the book together, the title “Quotable Joe” and Joe’s picture are visible.
YES…WE ARE….
