BREAKING: Penn State Football Program Didn’t Get Death Penalty, Got Something Worse

Ho-ly. Shit.

Here’s the penalties Penn State will face:

  • $60 million dollar fine (proceeds going toward an endowment fund for sexual abuse victims)
  • 4 year bowl ban
  • The vacation of ALL wins from 1998-2011
  • The reduction of 10 initial scholarships, and 20 more scholarships each year, for 4 years (current players will be permitted to transfer and have immediate eligibility elsewhere)
  • Five-year probation in which the university will have to work with an NCAA monitor

NCAA president, Mark Emmert said Penn State has agreed NOT to appeal the decision.

Wow. Speechless. This is way worse than the death penalty. This will kill the football program for about a decade, and maybe, sadly, ever.

This. Is. Awful.

I’m just gonna go watch a movie…

Ps. And so it begins…

Ohio cornerback Ross Douglas has decommitted from #PennState, per Bill Greene.
