The overrated PF was fined $50,000 and ended up apologizing to the fan. I understand athletes are held to a higher standard, but it is kind of ridiculous how fans can tweet whatever they want to athletes, but if an athlete writes something to a fan, he gets fined $50,000.
Ps. The fans tweet seemed to be more encouraging than derogative. Not sure why Amare freaked out, but then again remember the fire extinguisher?
Pps. Expect nothing more than mediocrity again from Amare and the Knicks next season.
