Reports: Rob Bolden Not With Team

[StateCollege.com] Penn State is down two players, according to reports by Lions247 and Blue-White Illustrated, both respected Penn State football websites.

Junior quarterback Rob Bolden is not on campus for the first set of summer classes, and redshirt junior cornerback Curtis Drake is not with the team because of academic reasons, both reports say.

Their futures with the program are not known at this time. Coach Bill O’Brien is expected to release a post-spring depth chart in the coming weeks. More answers should be known by then.

If this report is true then I think it would be a safe assumption to say Bolden isn’t going to be the starting quarterback. Bill O’Brien has said he has a “pretty good idea” who is going to be starting at quarterback so that would leave it to either Paul Jones or Matt McGloin.

Who do you think is going to be starting?

1 Star for Paul Jones

5 Stars for Matt McGloin
