Ahhhh, the Mifflin Streak. One of Penn State’s finest traditions is tonight.
For those of you that don’t know, the Mifflin Streak takes place every Spring semester at Penn State, the Sunday night before finals week. Students streak down Mifflin Road, before gearing up for finals week. Last year, the Mifflin Streak was interrupted by the killing of Osama Bin Laden, which is probably the reason the riots were so massive at Penn State.
The tradition of the Mifflin Streak goes back along way, and it is a proud tradition at Penn State. In our day and age, with FB and Twitter, and blogs, people might be discouraged from streaking, and we’re worried. We don’t want that to happen. Our biggest fear is the Mifflin Streak dies. So, we wanted to inform you we will NOT be “covering” the event. We won’t have pictures, videos, etc on our site because we don’t want to ruin the tradition of the event. We might tweet a couple note worthy things, but we will NOT publish any pictures that contain nudity. We are a blog For the Students of Penn State, and we wouldn’t want to jeopardize the tradition of any Penn State event, or prevent you from getting a job (or a girl, for that matter).
However, I’m sure Onward State will have the event covered for you.
